APPLE - A CRITTER CAROL
A Critter Carol is a handcrafted film following a ragtag group of woodland critters who stumble upon a lost iPhone. Using the device, they film themselves performing the song “Friends” by Flight of the Concords.
The campaign extended into social with a series of short films featuring the critters loose on set. Coming together for a selfie, testing the power of 8x zoom, and getting a much needed pick-me-up from craft services. Designed as social-first content, these vertical films further explored the personalities of each critter.
The critters also came together for an epic group selfie, which was displayed in Apple Stores around the world.
The campaign’s accompanying typography was entirely handmade, with each letter individually stamped and every line carefully set by hand.
A Critter Carol featured 11 puppets brought to life by puppeteers from around the world. Every element of the project was handcrafted and captured on the iPhone 17 Pro. Built with an emphasis on tactile materials and handmade performance, the film leans into charm and imperfection. Watch the behind-the-scenes to learn more about how we brought the film to life.
